The person reading your chart
My name is Shashank Agrawal. I read every chart that comes through Veshannastro myself. There is no panel of astrologers here and no rotation — if you book a reading, you speak to me, and if you book again in two years, you speak to me again and I still have your chart.
That is the whole difference between this practice and a marketplace app, and it is worth being direct about the cost of it: I cannot answer you at two in the morning, and I cannot take unlimited bookings. What I can do is remember your chart and be accountable for what I told you last time.
I work from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, in Vedic astrology, Parashari Jyotish, Pythagorean numerology and gemstone remedies. Six years, and past 1,200 consultations — that figure counts completed paid sessions only. Free follow-ups, fifteen-minute check-ins and the WhatsApp questions that arrive at all hours are not in it, and there have been a great many more of those.
How I work
Four stages, and none of them are padding.
- Before we speak. Your chart is calculated and studied in advance. That means the session opens with the work already done rather than with data entry — you are not paying me to type your birth details into software while the clock runs. If something in the chart needs cross-checking against a classical text before I say it out loud, that happens here, not in front of you.
- The session. Fixed price, fixed length, no per-minute meter. Ask as many questions as you need; it costs you nothing extra to be thorough, and the questions people are most embarrassed to ask are usually the ones worth the money. If a question falls outside what a chart can answer, I will say so rather than improvise.
- Afterwards. You receive what the chart showed, what I advised, and why — in writing. The reasoning matters as much as the conclusion. If you disagree with me in six months, you should be able to see exactly which placement I based it on and judge it for yourself.
- Follow-up. Where a remedy involves a stone, there is a check-in at twenty-one days to see whether it was the right call. Sometimes it is not. That is worth catching early rather than leaving you to wear something for a year on my word.
Why your sun sign is not the answer
Your Lagna shifts roughly every two hours. Two babies born in the same hospital on the same morning, one at 6am and one at 9am, can need different stones entirely.
What it actually turns on is which planet rules your Lagna, which Mahadasha you are running now, whether that planet behaves well in your chart specifically, and what you are trying to shift. Rose quartz, amethyst, clear quartz, green aventurine and the 7 Chakra bracelet are fine to start with, no reading needed. Blue sapphire, ruby, hessonite and cat's eye should not be worn without a chart reading — Saturn in particular is not a planet to strengthen on a guess.
Why only eighteen stones
Because eighteen is how many kept coming up. Across 1,200 consultations these are the stones that got recommended more than once. A store carrying two hundred is covering search terms, not charts.
There are stones I could stock tomorrow and sell well — moldavite, for one — that are not here, because in six years they have never been the answer to something a client actually walked in with. You can see the full range in the certified bracelet collection, or read which gemstone suits your chart first.
What I will not tell you
This is the part most astrology pages leave out, so it is the part worth reading:
- I will not predict a date of death, and I will not read that question at all.
- I will not tell you to leave a marriage, a job or a treatment. A chart can inform a decision like that. It cannot make it for you.
- I will not replace a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser, and I will say so plainly when that is what a question actually needs.
- I will not sell you a stone your chart does not call for. If the answer is that you do not need one, that is what you will hear — it has cost me orders and it is still the right answer.
- I will not guarantee an outcome. Anyone who does is selling you certainty, which is not a thing astrology has.
And on what a stone actually does: nothing lands in your lap because you put on a bracelet. What happens is duller and more useful — you catch it on your wrist thirty times a day and it keeps one decision in front of you. What clients report first is that they behaved differently, not that something arrived unprompted.

The stones I actually recommend
People ask why the shop carries only eighteen stones. Because that is how many come up repeatedly across 1,200 consultations — the reasoning is set out in which gemstone suits your chart, and the collection itself is here.
